Most retaining wall failures come down to one thing: no drainage behind the wall. We dig back the slope, put in proper drainage before the wall goes up, then build it to hold — whether that's timber sleepers for a garden bed step-down or a block wall carrying a driveway.
We also demolish and replace old, failing walls — leaning sleepers, rotted timber, block walls that have started to bow.

FAQs
Timber sleeper or block retaining wall — which is better?
It depends on the wall height, the look you want and your budget. Timber sleepers suit lower garden-bed walls; block suits taller or load-bearing walls. We'll recommend the right one on site.
Do I need a permit for a retaining wall?
In Queensland, retaining walls over a certain height (generally around one metre, less near a boundary) usually need engineering and council or building certification. We'll flag it if your wall needs that.
Can you replace an old, failing retaining wall?
Yes — demolition and removal of the old wall, then a new one built with proper drainage behind it so it doesn't fail again.
